Firestarters | Kindling Cape Town

Firestarters, also commonly known as kindling, are the small but important pieces of dry split wood that help get a proper fire going without the usual frustration or hassle. Whether you are lighting a kettle braai, fireplace, pizza oven or firepit, a good handful gives the first flame something easy to catch and helps build enough heat for the larger pieces of wood to take properly. They can make the difference between a fire that struggles for twenty minutes to ignite and one that gets going steadily in far less time—especially on an icy-cold Cape Town evening or a windy day outdoors. Take a look below at the firestarter bags we have available.
